GREAT SELJUQ: Sanjar, 1118-1157, AE ornate fals (2.83g), Balkh, xx5, A-C1688, complex obverse arrangement with a center hexagram and legends both inside and between the arms // central legend (kalima & uncertain name below) with outer marginal legend, Fine to VF, RRR. Same obverse type as lot 293 that sold in our Auction 42 (Balkh mint, AH515), but totally different reverse. Probably also dated AH515. Estimate: 150-200 USD...
