1177 – 1236 AH
The only mint for the khanate was Shamakhi. Coins are normally quite poorly struck, with considerable weakness and ghosting. Crudely engraved dates are often difficult to decipher. Attractively struck coins are truly exceptional (except for #A2945, normally wellmade and well-preserved). Since the collapse of the Soviet Union these coins have become more available, but the true nature of their rarity remains to be established.
